Record the narrowest opening
Measure the clear gate opening and any narrow point along the route. The PolyJohn PJN3 Static is 43.5 inches wide and 47 inches deep, but handling may require additional space. Door hinges, fence posts, bends, and uneven ground can change what is workable.
Do not turn a product measurement into a truck-access promise. Delivery vehicles and handling arrangements vary, so the rental team must confirm the equipment and site.
Look up and down the approach
Low wires, branches, awnings, and temporary site structures can obstruct a vehicle even when the ground path is wide enough. Report them rather than trying to estimate a safe clearance yourself. Also describe slope, steps, soft ground, and the proposed standing surface.
In North Texas, rain can change an unpaved route between the quote and the delivery. Contact the team if the approved approach becomes muddy or unstable.
Leave the service route open
Waste removal must remain possible after installation. Tell us how far the unit is from the accessible vehicle area and ask the team to confirm pumping arrangements. Ask for the permitted pumping distance for the assigned vehicle and site.
A driveway that will later fill with wedding guests or construction materials needs a plan to keep access clear. Share the delivery and pickup requirements with the property owner or site manager.
Prepare a clear handoff
Identify the exact position, provide an on-site contact and a backup, and agree on what happens if the preferred location cannot be used. A cone or sign can help describe the location if unattended delivery has been approved.
Use the printable site-readiness checklist and include the relevant details with your rental request. Keep private gate codes out of general website messages; share them directly with the rental team.
